Biography: 

Peter Freeland has 40 years of engineering and leadership experience in commercial, civilian and defense industries. This experience has spanned multiple industries including industrial controls, satellite communications, aerospace, networking, and defense. He has led projects and programs in diverse technical domains such as spacecraft development, commercial network management, free space optical communications, and RF communications. Mr. Freeland has served in diverse roles innovating and directly leading engineering research and development activities as technical lead, program manager, and principal investigator, and he has served in principal technical leadership roles in successful startup companies, in both commercial and defense arenas. Responsibilities have encompassed providing strategic direction and guidance for engineering research and development activities as Business Director and Strategic Technical Director.
